Welcome to Star Centre. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Definitions

·       "Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Star Centre, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, UAE.

·       "Customer," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity using our services.

·       "Services" refer to all car repair, paint, bodywork, and related services provided by Star Centre.

·       "Website" refers to the official Star Centre website through which information and service bookings may be made.

·       "Terms" means these Terms and Conditions, as may be amended from time to time.

2. Service Agreement

·       All services are subject to availability and an initial assessment of the vehicle.

·       Customers must provide accurate and complete information regarding their vehicle.

·       We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine the request to be unreasonable, unsafe, illegal, or beyond our capabilities.

·       All services are carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.

3. Estimates and Payments

·       All price estimates are exclusive of VAT and are subject to change following further inspection.

·       A deposit may be required before commencement of work.

·       Full payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

·       Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.

·       Late payments may incur additional charges, in compliance with UAE Central Bank guidelines.

·       OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and aftermarket parts may be used, subject to availability and customer approval.

4. Vehicle Drop-off and Collection

·       Customers are responsible for delivering their vehicle at the agreed time and location.

·       We will notify you via phone or email once your vehicle is ready for collection.

·       Vehicles not collected within five (5) calendar days after notification will incur a storage charge of AED 200 per day.

·       If a vehicle remains uncollected for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings under UAE law for abandonment.

5. Warranty and Liability

·       We offer a lifetime warranty on paint and bodywork performed by Star Centre, provided the vehicle remains under the ownership of the same individual who commissioned the work.

·       This warranty is limited to the specific area of work performed and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

·       The warranty applies exclusively to workmanship and materials used for paint and bodywork.

·       The following are excluded from warranty coverage:

o   Normal wear and tear;

o   Misuse or neglect;

o   Accidents or damage occurring after delivery;

o   Unauthorized repairs or modifications;

o   Pre-existing damage or defects not addressed during the service.

·       Customers are also protected under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 (UAE Consumer Protection Law), where applicable.

·       Star Centre shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

·       We are not responsible for any loss or damage due to events beyond our control, such as theft, fire, natural disasters, or vandalism.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

·       Appointments may be cancelled with advance notice.

·       Deposits may be non-refundable if work has already commenced or parts have been ordered.

·       Refunds will only be issued in cases of service failure attributable to Star Centre and will be processed within 14 business days.

·       Partial refunds may apply based on the proportion of work completed.

7. Customer Responsibilities

·       Customers must remove all personal belongings and valuables before dropping off the vehicle.

·       Star Centre accepts no responsibility for items left in the vehicle during servicing.

·       Customers must inspect their vehicle at the time of collection and report any concerns immediately. Delayed claims may limit your ability to seek redress, except in cases involving hidden defects.

8. Privacy Policy

·       Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

·       We comply with the UAE Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

·       By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

·       Star Centre reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.

·       Material changes affecting your rights will be notified via email or SMS (where applicable).

·       Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

·       These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

·       Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

·       Where possible, both parties agree to attempt resolution through amicable negotiation or mediation prior to initiating legal proceedings.

11. Insurance Repairs

·       If your vehicle is being repaired under an insurance claim, the services are subject to the insurer’s terms and prior approvals.

·       Star Centre bears no liability for delays or service limitations resulting from insurer decisions or delays.

12. Indemnity

·       You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Star Centre, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions arising from your breach of these Terms.
